Parts Buyer - Procurement AnalystLocation: Tempe Milk Plant A: Tempe, AZ 85282Payrate: $25.00Role requires the candidate to be onsite 5 days a week. Role hours: 8 am - 4pm Arizona time M-F subject to time. Can be worked out with the hiring manager.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime as needed.Possible assignment extension depends on need. This is for LOA only. Candidate must be eligible to be employed for an indefinite duration without limitations.Role ResponsibilitiesManage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of critical materialsAssist with monitoring inventory of maintenance and operational supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and compliance with purchasing proceduresAssist maintenance teams to forecast material and tool needs for preventive maintenance while maintaining regulatory and company standardsAssist in managing contracts for facility services, such as HVAC, janitorial, and equipment repairs, ensuring all agreements align with company policiesPrepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and vendor performance for management review and audit purposesAssist with administrative tasks related to facility management, procurement, and complianceRole RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education in procurement or supply chain management is a plusMinimum 1-2-year experience working in an office or manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in purchasing or procurement, especially in a manufacturing or production environment, is nice to haveStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWorking knowledge of purchasing software and inventory management systems is nice to haveExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of facility maintenance and operational needs is an advantageAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and production staff
