Procurement AnalystThe Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Enhanced Bill Review Programs by securing essential medical documentation, including itemizations and medical records needed to process claims accurately and efficiently. This position involves proactive outreach to providers, managing inbound inquiries, and ensuring all documentation meets quality and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations. The Procurement Analyst is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where meeting production goals and collaborating with team members are key to success.This is an onsite position.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Spend approximately 80-85% of the shift making outbound calls to providers to obtain required information; may also send email or fax requestsRespond to inbound calls regarding claim status and related inquiriesMaintain accurate records of all communications between the company, providers, and referring clientsVerify that all documentation received is complete and accurate in accordance with established Quality Assurance protocolsEscalate issues or concerns to the appropriate Lead, Supervisor, or Manager as neededEnsure HIPAA compliance in all communications and documentationConsistently meet production standards and quality benchmarksCollaborate with team members and management to achieve departmental goals; proactively identify and report potential issuesAssist with training and onboarding of new employees as requiredAdditional duties as assignedKnowledge & Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on phone etiquetteProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAttention to detailExceptional organizational skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent6 months to 1 year of office experienceOutbound call center experience preferredData Entry experience preferredPay Range: $13.38 - $20.36 per hourCorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.
