BuzzBallz Processing TechnicianThe Processing Technician will be responsible for blending, batching, filtering, transferring, calculating inventory tank readings, and preparation of all products to meet the bottling schedule using approved formulas and company specifications. Responsible for blending fixes and final approvals prior to bottling; bulk receiving and inventory management; documents blending volumes from the bottling schedule and submits to laboratory for approval. Responsible for safety, quality control, and cleanliness of work area.Shift Available:Shift C works Thursday - Saturday, (6:00AM – 6:00PM) and Wed (12:00PM – 6:00PM).Mix formulas in accordance with written procedures, including verifying ingredient quantities and qualityFollow management's direction pertaining to batch schedule, housekeeping items, and any additional duties for the dayClean/sanitize equipment, tanks, hoses, and linesReceive and unload tankers of liquid sugar, alcohol, and productComplete required paperwork, e.g., Batch Production Sheets, logsTransport ingredients around warehouse via forkliftMaintain a safe and sanitary environment and report any areas of concern to managementWeigh partial ingredients, label ingredients appropriately and reseal with tamper-resistant tapeParticipate in the batch approval process, assist in root cause analysis for out of specification batchesPerform lab quality testing of batches and ingredientsMust be able to drive a forkliftCan lift at least 25 pounds of productsAdhere to safety and GMP protocolsTeam player and collaborative with other team membersEnsures that the schedule of compounded bulk batches is met when delegated by the compounding manager and ensures that the bulk is manufactured according to customer specifications and in compliance with FDA, GMP, and OSHA guidelinesEnsures that all documentation associated with compounding meets all FDA, GMP, and internal quality policiesProvides firsthand practical knowledge of the compounding process to the compounding manager when needed for efficiency improvements and validating new batchesAssists in the validation or scale-up of compounded bulk batches.Ensures that compounding equipment is maintained and requests repair when necessaryPerforms non-conformance investigations as directed by the compounding managerProvides suggestions and input for the improvement of the compounding processAble to assess and resolve issues that may arise during the shiftManages conflicts, performs disciplinary actions when necessarySome knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5s, 5 why's, root cause analysis, problem solvingEffective communication skillsQualifications/RequirementsCan read, write, and speak EnglishAt least six months work experienced in a food or beverage manufacturing work environmentKnowledge of food / beverage safety & sanitary handlingCan work independently with minimal oversight and complete tasks in a timely mannerCan at least lift and carry 25 pounds of products daily as neededCan manage staffing within assigned departmentBilingual a plusCulture and BenefitsMust be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and authorized to work in the US.
