Process Technician

Process TechnicianSURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Process Technician for a client in Elgin, IL. The Process Technician is responsible to control the processes in injection molding.

The role also provides support to the execution of the production schedule including mold changes, setups, and startups. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All permanent employees are offered competitive compensation ($30-$33/HR) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available Shift: 5:00pm-5:00am (rotating shifts)Process Technician Duties and Responsibilities:Directing and performing mold and/or material changes as dictated by the production schedulePerforming process troubleshootingResponding to machine alarms as necessaryPart inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and qualityVerifying paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at start-up of jobs and in-process inspectionsMonitoring and preparing support equipment i.e. water, circulators, grinders, robotics, etc. as needed in the production areaAssisting in break coverage as needed.Create and maintain set parameter documentation for production equipment.Cover for supervisory personnel as neededWork in a team environment on projectsPresent a professional image at all timesHigh level of inter-department communicationUnderstand and execute customer-specific requirementsProcess Technician Skills and Competencies:5-7 years of experience in a similar roleHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.
