Process Technician Diffusiononsemi is seeking a skilled and motivated Process Technician Diffusion as a member of the module team. D1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 6:30 am- 7:00 pmResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities include:Monitor, control, and qualify state-of-the-art 300 mm semiconductor equipmentReact to tool alarms of equipment, and disposition wafers involved in alarms using defined proceduresReview Statistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshootingPerform visual inspections (quality check)Recover from process and tool interruptionsUse standard software applications (MS Office, Google Apps, Agile PLM, Xsite, WSPC)Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and costComplete all required reporting and documentationOperate computer and system interface programs to ensure appropriate computing and analysis of production informationFollow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentationWork in an environment requiring a high level of attention to detail and timelinessWorking knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodologies & systemsUnderstand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirementsOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Education: High School Degree (or equivalent)Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experienceFluent in English Language – written & verbalGood communication skillsAble to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift scheduleAble to work in a cleanroom environment wearing required cleanroom clothing per semiconductor protocol/requirementsAbility to perform work in a standing position for the majority of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of semiconductor processing and process equipmentEmployees in this role may be required to participate in the site Emergency Response Brigade and support emergency preparedness activities. Participation includes maintaining required training, certifications, and response readiness in accordance with site policies and business needs.Hourly: onsemi is excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $27.60 to $48.12 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
