We're a trusted and strategic partner to engineers, contractors, distributors, specifiers, retailers, and homeowners alike as the manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete, and plastic infrastructure products.Job Summary:Ensures maximum uptime of production molding machines by diagnosing and addressing quality issues and variations from customer specifications due to molding machines, processes, materials, or operator interactions.Job Responsibilities:Initiates the start of molding machines and ensures proper functionality to support the on-time completion of production targetsTroubleshoots molding machine malfunctions or bottlenecks that can be corrected by material changes or process adjustmentsRecords the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as requiredCommunicates and verifies necessary raw material adjustments to material handlers to improve production efficiency and accuracyConducts test runs of process or machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standardsRoutinely changes machine inserts to customize product wording or labeling in accordance with customer specificationsNotifies a Maintenance Technician of a machine electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic issue or problems that may require a fabricated solutionIdentifies parts or machines that need new parts or need to be replaced and places orders as necessaryAssembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies under the guidance of a technical ManagerPerforms routine analyses and calculations, and recommends changes in equipment, products or test methodsAssists the on-shift supervisor with assigning operators to machines and provides direction to Machine Operator as to machine cycle time and operating multiple machines at a timeAssists Material Handlers with troubleshooting material issuesJob Requirements:Experience in mold changes, hydraulics, electrical, an understanding of polymers and resins, processing and injection mold machineryMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting using root cause analysisUnderstands and is familiar with developing processes using Decoupled MoldingFamiliar with open/close loop process controlsGood interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionallyGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skillsAt least 5 years of experience in plastics processingAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.What CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
