The ideal candidate will be responsible for starting, operating, and adjusting manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role requires a focus on safety, an understanding of quality, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities:Use technician computer to monitor and record machine statuses as well as maintain daily records of maintenance or other projects performedDiagnose faults, malfunctions, and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogsCalibrate or adjust machinery or equipment to ensure quality productionTest, troubleshoot and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipmentKeep work area clean and organizedOther items as directed by managementLevel 1 Skills Include:LOTO assessments, JSA creationBasic multimeter usage (voltage and resistance checks)Hydraulic, air, and water hose fabricationHot stamp and auxiliary equipment troubleshootingDrilling tap and die, thread insert repairBlender and weigh bin calibrationNozzle and heater block wiringAdvanced riggingSilicone sprayer troubleshootingCompounding, low and high pressure injection fundamentalsMold change process and repair fundamentalsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.Forklift, cranes and other industrial vehicles experience preferred2 or more years of mechanical or technical experience preferredMust be able to use hand tools ranging from common hand and power tools to fabrication toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking basic English.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Supportive and collaborative work environment.The Virginia base pay range for this position is from $24.50-$29.00.
