ASR Group® companies also produce and market Tellus®, a single-use, compostable tableware and foodservice product made from plant fibers, including sugarcane.OVERVIEWThe Process Supervisor will direct all activities of the entire refining process of cane sugar including the receipt of liquid materials, ensuring quality standards are met through the efficient use of energy (fuel and steam), water, air, and electric power.DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains standard production rates while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standardsLeads assigned teams in the continuous improvement processAchieves results through subordinates in a unionized environmentWORK EXPERIENCESFive years of experience in a chemical processing, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant as a process/production supervisor or related experience. Previous experience supervising union personnel.
Experience with and demonstrated success in leading operational excellence/continuous improvement efforts.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree is strongly preferred in an engineering, science, or business related field.
