The Process Owner partners with IT professionals and cross functional business partners to train, educate, and advise best practices achieving standardization and simplification to ensure customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for leading the definition, alignment, and implementation of processes across the enterprise.
Additionally, this role is accountable to explain, present, and train the details of the processes as needed. Each process owner in this organization will support and have expertise in a specified area within Supply Chain.Reports to: GBS Enterprise Supply Chain Process Leader Span Of Control: Individual Contributor Location: Toledo World Headquarters or remoteJob ResponsibilitiesProcess OwnershipCreates and owns system processes performed within OC businesses, corporate functions, third party providers, and Shared ServicesResponsible for ensuring processes are executed according to established standards, process documentation is current, and processes conform to OC controlsPartnership and guidance to regional GBS teams on system access/requirementsResponsible for designing processes to enable our stakeholders to grow their business while maintaining global and local standard where possibleDay-to-day operations point to solve and prioritize process issuesDrive improvement by partnering with teams that increase the overall efficiency and quality of the processUnderstanding of how process changes impact labor, safety, service, and inventory integrityPartners with Enterprise Process Leader and key stakeholders to identify new system capabilities/processes to support business requirementsDevelops, maintains and provides all end-user training (internal and external) including refresh training; using train the trainer methodology when neededProcess Health And GovernanceOngoing monitoring of operational metrics to mitigate operational interruptions, including investigation and resolutionPartner with Enterprise Leader on identification and on-going use of health KPI'sUse KPIs to identify process gapsEscalate to appropriate team if performance relatedOwn governance of business roles within SAP, ensuring proper role design, assignment, and compliance with security and segregation-of-duties standards.Functional System DeploymentParticipates in design and development workshops to provide a point of view in all supply chain system processes and developmentParticipates in business requirement gathering, UAT, cutover and supports system go-lives and stabilization and/or coordinates with regional team membersAssesses system process change requests to determine impact and recommended course of action with an Enterprise mindsetBusiness PartnershipDrive process design and improvement initiatives with a forward-looking approach, actively identifying opportunities to integrate automation and AI to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityInfluence and manage stakeholder's expectationsEngage with Enterprise SC team and IT stakeholders to ensure process design aligns with system capabilities and enterprise optimization goalsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to co-design and prioritize process enhancements that enable efficiency and digital enablementOwnership of SOPs – Maintain, update and communicate SOP changes to ensure appropriate execution of updated processJob RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.5+ years' experience in manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, operations, engineering, or process excellence roles supporting industrial operations.Exposure to maintenance planning, asset management, manufacturing execution, production scheduling, or continuous improvement practices.Experience working within a multi-site manufacturing organization.Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP PP, SAP PM, or related ERP systems.Lean Manufacturing, TPM, reliability, or process improvement experience.Experience driving standardization across sites while balancing local operational requirements.Ability to travel up to 40% (both domestic and international)Preferred Experience:Exposure to SAP S4/HANA and experience supporting process stabilization post S/4 cutoverExperience in a multi-national corporation in a corporate setting desirableDemonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvementsDemonstrated rate of growth and success in prior rolesChange leadership experience and/or complex project leadership experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Influential leadership, especially indirect, and ability to own and take the lead on responsibilitiesInquisitive mindset that does not settle for status quoIdentify process break downs and recommend solutionsAbility to analyze and solve complex problemsStrong time management and organizational skillsParticipation in design and development workshops with a point of viewClear learning agilityTime management and organizational stabilityLeadership in functional areaManaging stakeholder expectationsTraining, communication, and partnership
