Process Operator (PM)Pennsauken, NJ Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM Pay: $19.67/hour + $1.50 shift differentialPosition Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our production team in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for batching ingredients, operating and monitoring processing equipment, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and monitor processing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and product specificationsBatch and measure raw ingredients into hoppers and processing equipment based on batch cards and production instructions (including Brix, pH, and acid levels)Verify all materials (item codes, lot numbers, weights, and descriptions) to ensure accuracy and traceabilityMaintain strict food safety and quality standards when handling ingredients and throughout production processesMonitor production and stop processes to report any issues related to quality, food safety, or equipment performanceSupport production start-up and shutdown proceduresAccurately record critical control points, ingredient usage, and production data in real timeComplete all required batch paperwork and documentation with a high level of accuracyIdentify equipment or process issues and submit work orders for repairsCommunicate equipment, material, and quality concerns to incoming shiftsAssist with cleaning and sanitation of equipment, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) processesFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and PPE requirements at all timesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required)Minimum of 6 months of food processing, cooking, or related manufacturing experienceAbility to use basic tools such as knives, pumps, and scalesBasic math skills, including measurements and calculationsAbility to read and interpret batch instructions, safety guidelines, and operating proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracyPreferred QualificationsExperience in food manufacturing or processing environmentsFamiliarity with RedZone or similar production systemsLockout/Tagout trainingStrong communication and teamwork skills
