Process Operatori-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Process Operator. This position requires safe and efficient operation of one or more processes to achieve defined operating targets. These processes include Carbon leach circuit, heap leach pad duties, operating heavy equipment, control room operation.Location: Lone Tree Mine, 29100 Lone Tree Mine Road, Valmy, NevadaResponsibilitiesHigh School Diploma or GED preferredOperation of one or more-unit processesReagent mixing and handlingMonitoring equipment performanceMonitoring and controlling reagent, water and/or slurry flow ratesChecking pumps and valvesDemonstrating effective safety leadership within a team environment and promoting environmental awareness in all work or task related dutiesEnsuring required documentation, logs and reports are up to date and completeMaintaining a high standard of housekeeping in work areasConduct training and provide mentorship to new hiresWorking with and assisting the maintenance team (as required) to ensure equipment is in optimal operating condition to avoid unnecessary downtime or delaysPromptly informing co-workers and supervisors of any recognized safety or operational issuesWorking with co-workers in a friendly and respectful mannerPerforming other duties as requiredQualificationsPrior mining experience strongly preferredSkilled ability as a process operator preferredAbility to operate a semi-automated circuit preferredExperience operating forklifts and/or mobile equipmentThe ability to work both day shifts and night shiftsAbility to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervisionPlease refer to the Careers page on our website for instructions on how to apply.
