Process Operator II

Job TitlePay Range: $22.00hr - $26.00hrRequirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or GED.Must complete site specific safety training.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to follow and read instructions.Basic math skills.Ability to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training for Carbon area.Responsibilities:Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.Read and clearly follow required processes.Contribute to division results and performance.Address internal and external customer needs and expectations.Operate equipment specific to area such as bagging products, sampling, and testing.Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace.Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon.Calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, and run facility waste water treatment plant.Sort bottles by size and resin.Load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch.Operate forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks.Evacuate bottles.Nice To Have:Manufacturing or plant experience.Forklift driving experience.Knowledge of computers.Skills:Equipment Operation.Safety Compliance.Quality Control.Basic Mathematics.Forklift Operation.Waste Water Treatment Plant Operation.PH Probe Calibration.Filter Press Operation.Qualification And Education:High School Diploma or GED.Physical Requirements (Due To Nature Of Job, The Candidate Must Have):Ability to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.Ability to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.Ability to climb and descend stairs.Ability to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.Ability to work in heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.Ability to work in areas where noise level requires hearing protection.Ability to work on concrete surfaces.Ability to operate a computer.
