Process OperatorSchedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3–4 days a week. If you're safety-focused, quality-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for you!Work environment:This role involves working in potentially loud, odorous, and physically demanding environments, including exposure to various weather conditions. You must be able to:Lift and carry up to 50 lbsStand and walk for extended periodsClimb stairs and laddersBend, reach, push, pullEnter tanks and wear a harness when requiredWhat you will do:· Operate mechanized equipment safely and efficiently· Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues· Monitor operations via control room systems· Sample and test products for quality assurance· Load/unload trucks, railcars, and containers· Pack, inspect, and handle various packaging formats· Transfer product between tanks as needed· Maintain inventory and cleanliness of equipment· Handle chemicals safely and according to protocolsWhat you will bring:· High school diploma or GED (required)· Ability to read, write, and speak English· Strong communication and teamwork skills· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision· Computer literacy; SAP experience is a plus· Mechanical/problem-solving skills (preferred)· Knowledge of GMP and food safety (a plus)· Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification (required)Who you are:· Effective communication and teamwork abilities· Adaptability to rotating shifts and willingness to work overtime as needed· Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with safety standardsWhy Join Ingredion:Ingredion is a Fortune 500 company providing innovative ingredient solutions that nourish, comfort, and delight people worldwide.
