Production Operator (Formulator)Reports To: Shift Leader/Production SupervisorWork Location: Lakeland, Florida PlantAOC is the leading global supplier of specialty resins, gel coats, colorants and additives which enable customers to create robust, durable, and versatile products and components.AOC's Resin Manufacturing Plant in Lakeland, Florida is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Production Operator (Formulator) to join our team. This hands-on role involves operating formulating equipment, adhering to production schedules and safety procedures, and communicating any safety or equipment concerns. If you're a team player who works hard, pays attention to detail, communicates well, and takes pride in doing the job right, we'd love to hear from you!Main ResponsibilitiesComplete required training to understand and follow all company, job, safety, quality, and compliance procedures, including but not limited to: ISO, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and SDS requirementsOperate and monitor formulating equipment, following all batch and production procedures, to safely produce resin products according to production schedules and quality specificationsTransfer formulated products into drums, label finished products, and complete required production documentationMonitor equipment and processes, promptly reporting any safety hazards, mechanical issues, or other concerns to leadershipSafely operate in-house forklifts, jockey, and/or semi-trailer equipment, as neededParticipate in team, safety, training, benefits and other required meetingsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shiftOther duties as assignedWork EnvironmentMust be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.Manufacturing environment; Exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures; Requires PPE and adherence to safety proceduresMay require standing, walking, lifting, and working around operating equipmentMay require overtime as needed to support plant operationsExperience and QualificationsMust possess High School Diploma or GED2 years of relevant work experience, or previous experience in manufacturing industry required; Able to perform the essential functions of the positionMust possess forklift certificationAble to follow verbal and written instructions and apply training on the jobBasic computer and data entry skills for production documentationReliable, punctual, motivated to learn and ask questionsTeam-player, treats others respectfully and professionallyWhat We OfferCompetitive Pay and Quarterly Bonus EligibilityCompany-Paid Holidays and Vacation401(k) with Company Contributions and MatchingMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life Insurance + Disability InsuranceService Recognition RewardsPet Insurance
