Now Hiring: Production / Process Equipment Operator II

Location: Carlsbad, CA
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:30 PM
Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift Position Overview
Manpower is hiring a Production / Process Equipment Operator II for DuPont! This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented candidate interested in manufacturing, equipment operation, and hands-on production work.
Under the guidance of senior operators, you will learn and perform production operations using manufacturing equipment, machines, and fixtures while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Key Responsibilities
* Operate production machines, equipment, and fixtures according to work instructions and established procedures.
* Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to understand part specifications and production requirements.
* Assemble parts and raw materials according to blueprints, ensuring quality and production targets are met.
* Position and align components accurately; use measuring instruments and gauges to verify part dimensions and quality.
* Monitor and maintain inventory of chemicals, raw materials, and production supplies.
* Perform quality inspections and monitor or adjust processes to achieve optimal manufacturing results.
* Complete required production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
* Understand daily production goals and work efficiently to meet established targets.
* Follow all company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
* Participate in cross-training, departmental job rotations, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned 2nd-shift schedule.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good or corrected eyesight to ensure accurate inspection of parts.
* Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements using both hands.
* Ability to work safely with a variety of glues, solvents, and chemicals.
* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
* Ability to read and understand basic work instructions, engineering drawings, and company policies.
* Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction of two- and three-digit numbers.
* Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements .
