This role will focus on process improvement efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting new product introductions in a high-tolerance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize CNC machining processes (milling, turning, grinding) for aerospace componentsSelect tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding solutions for tight-tolerance partsCreate and maintain process documentation and standardized work instructionsSupport new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through full productionConduct root cause analysis for dimensional, surface finish, and quality issuesImprove cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase overall machine utilizationPerform capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and apply statistical process control (SPC) methodsEnsure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standardsCollaborate with programming, quality, and production teamsAssist with capital equipment selection, implementation, and machine validation
