You'll lead and support projects that improve efficiency, safety, and product quality across our operations, whether that's working in the lab, collaborating with cross-functional teams, or traveling to our facilities around the globe.What You'll Do:Drive innovation in cannabis processing through technical contributions and creative problem-solvingManage and support multiple engineering projects from planning to executionInstall, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical and lab equipment such as distillation systems, CO? and ethanol extractors, pumps, chillers, and moreBuild and test experimental designs to support new product and process initiativesKeep detailed lab notes and documentation to ensure accurate tracking of experiments and discoveriesCollaborate with other engineers to meet project goals and support team successPrioritize tasks and manage tight deadlines in a dynamic work environmentWork independently with minimal supervision while balancing multiple responsibilitiesTravel frequently (75%+) to support engineering efforts at Curaleaf locations across the globeWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field2+ years of relevant experience in a hands-on technical or R&D roleStrong mechanical aptitude, especially with plumbing, electrical, and lab equipmentAbility to maintain confidentialityForensic understanding of MEP practicesSolid understanding of the construction processComfortable working independently and managing multiple prioritiesWillingness and ability to travel 75%+ of the timeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with CAD, SolidWorks, and other design softwareA sharp eye for detail and a love for solving problemsEven Better If You Have:Familiarity or experience with project management.Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practicesFamiliarity with cannabinoid chemistry and processingPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands to finger or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and lift up to 25 lbs.
