Come grow with us!Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify sources of variation and instabilityEstablish and maintain process parameters, standards, and controlsDrive consistency in critical processes (mixing, forming, curing, firing, etc.)Implement corrective actions to address process deviations and non-conformancesProvide real-time troubleshooting on the production floorPartner with operators and supervisors to resolve process-related issues quicklySupport production in meeting daily output and efficiency targetsAct as the primary technical resource for process-related challengesAnalyze scrap trends and identify root causes of defects (e.g., shrinkage, cracking, dimensional issues)Lead structured problem-solving (8D, root cause analysis) to eliminate repeat issuesDevelop and implement actions to improve yield and reduce reworkDevelop, update, and enforce standard work instructions and process documentationEnsure process changes are validated, documented, and sustainedSupport training of operators on updated processes and standardsTrack key process metrics (yield, scrap, cycle time, throughput)Utilize data to identify trends and drive decision-makingEstablish visual controls and reporting for process performanceWork with Quality to ensure product meets specifications and customer requirementsPartner with Maintenance to address equipment-related process issuesSupport Engineering initiatives related to process improvements and new methodsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related) preferred but not required3–5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience (casting, ceramics, composites, or similar preferred)Strong understanding of process control and variation reductionExperience with: Root Cause Analysis (RCA, 8D, CAPA)Process documentation and standardizationScrap reduction and yield improvementAbility to work on the production floor daily in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAt Alkegen, we strive every day to help people – ALL PEOPLE – breathe easier, live greener and go further than ever before.
