Process EngineerWe are seeking a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Sanford, Maine. This role is ideal for an engineering professional who is passionate about improving production processes, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting a culture of operational excellence.As a key member of the Operations team, you will lead process improvement initiatives, support equipment implementation and qualification, optimize manufacturing workflows, and drive Lean Manufacturing efforts across the facility.Responsibilities:Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, yield, cost reduction, and cycle-time improvementsDevelop and maintain detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures, and visual work aidsAnalyze manufacturing processes and conduct time studies to improve efficiency and support cost analysisImplement Lean Manufacturing tools including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, TPM, and waste elimination initiativesDesign and optimize manufacturing cells to improve responsiveness and reduce setup timesSupport equipment selection, installation, startup, and process validation activitiesMaintain production data, routings, and Bills of OperationsCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, and Production teams to improve performance and ensure complianceTrain supervisors and team leaders on new processes, products, and process modificationsParticipate in preventive maintenance planning and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activitiesDrive a safety-first culture while supporting behavior-based safety initiativesDesired Background/Skills:Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred3+ years experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independentlyValue Stream Mapping5S, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen methodologiesProcess validation and equipment qualificationManufacturing cost analysis and time studiesProduction routing and workflow optimizationReady to help transform manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement?
