This role is responsible for monitoring and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, product quality, material utilization, and energy performance. The Process Engineer will work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot process issues, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support safe, reliable plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess OptimizationData Analysis & Problem SolvingContinuous ImprovementTechnical SupportSafety & ComplianceProcess OptimizationMonitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.Optimize production processes to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, and cost.Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet production and quality targets.Support process standardization and adherence to operating procedures.Data Analysis & Problem SolvingAnalyze production and process data to identify trends and performance gaps.Lead and participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.Develop and implement sustainable corrective actions.Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate process improvements.Evaluate equipment and process performance using data-driven methodologies.Continuous ImprovementLead process improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, and cost savings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements.Review and recommend modifications to raw material specifications and manufacturing processes.Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Technical SupportProvide engineering support to manufacturing operations.Troubleshoot process-related production issues.Assist during equipment installation, commissioning, and plant startup activities.Share technical knowledge and best practices across engineering teams.Safety & CompliancePromote a strong safety culture throughout the manufacturing facility.Participate in plant safety initiatives and continuous safety improvement programs.Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental standards, and operating procedures.QualificationsMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Process Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Process Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.Minimum 1 year of Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a continuous process or high-volume manufacturing environment.Experience implementing process improvements.Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCCA) and Design of Experiments (DOE).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation supporting a 24/7 operation.Preferred QualificationsExperience in continuous process manufacturing industries such as building materials, glass, chemicals, insulation, paper, plastics, or similar.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong project management and process optimization experience.Work EnvironmentFull-time onsite position in a manufacturing facility.Frequent walking, climbing, and working around industrial equipment.Exposure to temperature variations, noise, dust, fumes, and moving machinery.Occasional support during off-hours for manufacturing operations.Compensation: Based on Experience.
