Are you passionate about solving complex manufacturing challenges and improving high-tech processes? We're looking for a Process Engineer to join our growing semiconductor operations team. In this role, you'll play a key part in optimizing precision cleaning processes used to refurbish critical semiconductor equipment components that support some of the world's most advanced manufacturing technologies.

What You'll Do

n

As a Process Engineer, you'll be responsible for improving manufacturing performance by developing and optimizing precision cleaning processes while supporting production, quality, and customer requirements.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n
    n
  • n

    Develop, optimize, and validate precision cleaning processes for semiconductor equipment components.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Improve process capability, production throughput, equipment reliability, and manufacturing capacity.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Lead equipment and process improvement projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and validation.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Investigate process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

    n
  • n
  • n

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer teams to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturing performance.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Analyze process data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce variability, and increase product quality.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Support the implementation of best practices, standardized work, and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

    n
  • n

What We're Looking For

n

We're seeking an engineer who enjoys working on the manufacturing floor, solving technical problems, and continuously improving processes.

n

Preferred Qualifications

n
    n
  • n

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or another technical discipline.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Equivalent industry experience will also be considered for candidates with extensive precision cleaning or semiconductor manufacturing experience.

  • n

    3+ years of experience in:

    n
  • n
  • n

    Semiconductor manufacturing

    n
  • n
  • n

    Process engineering

    n
  • n
  • n

    Precision cleaning operations

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience supporting semiconductor equipment components or refurbishment processes.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience with one or more of the following technologies:

    n
  • n
  • n

    Dry Etch

    n
  • n
  • n

    Thin Films

    n
  • n
  • n

    PVD

    n
  • n
  • n

    CVD

    n
  • n
  • n

    ALD

    n
  • n
  • n

    Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.

  • n
  • n

    Experience leading process or equipment improvement projects.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) is a plus.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Bilingual Japanese and English communication skills are strongly preferred.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience working with Japanese semiconductor customers, equipment manufacturers, or engineering organizations is highly desirable.

The salary range for this position is $95,300 - $119,100. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting
