Job Overview
We are seeking a Process Engineer Pharmaceutical Packaging to provide onsite engineering support for pharmaceutical packaging operations within a cGMP manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing high-speed packaging lines, improving process efficiency, supporting equipment installation and integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing reliability and production output.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite engineering support for pharmaceutical packaging operations.
- Troubleshoot and optimize high-speed packaging lines to improve throughput and reduce process inefficiencies.
- Analyze manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Support production trials, machine testing, equipment performance evaluations, and process changes.
- Evaluate packaging equipment, automation systems, serialization technologies, and integrated manufacturing processes.
- Support installation, start-up, commissioning, and integration of new packaging equipment and production lines.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, controls, and packaging automation systems.
- Support serialization activities and packaging system improvements.
- Assist with qualification activities, protocols, batch record development, and technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation related to process improvements and capital projects.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Technical Services, and Manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges.
- Work directly on the manufacturing floor to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or packaging engineering.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or other regulated cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing or packaging equipment.
- Experience anhalyzing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and improving throughput.
- Understanding of integrated equipment, automation systems, and production processes.
- Experience supporting production trials, machine testing, and process changes.
- Experience supporting new equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, or line integration activities.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and update technical and engineering documentation.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Technical Operators, and Technical Services teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
