Process EngineerOur client, a well-established manufacturer in eastern Alabama, is looking to add a Process Engineer to its engineering team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, improving production processes, and seeing their ideas implemented on the plant floor. Rather than being limited to one area of the business, you'll be involved in a variety of engineering initiatives ranging from troubleshooting production issues and supporting capital projects to designing machine components and identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

If you enjoy being on the manufacturing floor just as much as you enjoy solving technical problems, this is the type of role where you can make an immediate impact.ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing operations by identifying and resolving process-related issuesLead and support continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and throughputPartner with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing challengesSupport capital equipment projects, facility improvements, and equipment upgradesDesign or modify machine components, tooling, and manufacturing fixtures as neededAnalyze manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to increase performance and reliabilityDevelop and maintain engineering drawings and supporting documentationWork closely with operators and production leadership to identify opportunities for process improvementsParticipate in new equipment installations, startup activities, and process validationWhat They're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace EngineeringApproximately 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving abilityExperience supporting manufacturing operations in an industrial environmentAbility to work effectively with production, maintenance, and cross-functional teamsExperience with any of the following would be beneficial:Continuous Improvement initiativesCapital equipment projectsManufacturing process optimizationAutoCAD or 3D CAD softwareRoot cause analysis and troubleshootingMachine or tooling designWhy This Role?This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of engineering projects rather than being confined to a single area of responsibility.
