Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer who will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager , this critical role will focus on identifying and implementing process improvements that drive productivity, enhance quality, and increase overall plant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of manufacturing control strategies to optimize plant performance.
- pply Six Sigma, TQM , and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce scrap and boost throughput.
- Conduct in-depth process audits, generate improvement plans, and manage implementation from concept to completion.
- Develop and oversee capital project proposals , including cost analysis and project execution .
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve process-related challenges and improve operational reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Injection molding and plastics industry experience is required.
- Experience with capital project management.
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Business-oriented mindset with a practical approach to technical problem-solving.
- Travel required up to 60% (onsite project work across multiple facilities).
