We're looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our Geismar facility and play a central role in optimizing our operations, leading improvements, and helping us build a safer, more efficient plant for the future.If you're a sharp, solutions-oriented engineer who thrives at the intersection of data and hands-on problem solving, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead projects end-to-end — manage new equipment installations, coordinate timelines, and ensure seamless knowledge transfer to operatorsOptimize production — evaluate process and lab data daily to improve yield, quality, and efficiencyDesign and improve systems — run process simulations, test upgrades, and develop innovative solutions and best practicesTrain and document — create clear operating instructions and process documentation that empower your teamManage risk — conduct risk assessments and keep cost and time constraints on trackChampion safety — model and reinforce a culture where safety is everyone's first priorityRequired Education and ExperienceB.S. in Chemical Engineering5+ years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturingRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesLean Manufacturing, GMP/FDA compliance, and Process Safety ManagementCapital expenditure planning, unit operations, PLC and DCS systemsAbility to interpret technical journals, financial reports, and regulatory documentsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and regulatory agenciesExperience responding to common inquiries or concerns from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityProficiency in Microsoft OfficeEnvironmental and/or Physical RequirementsWork is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment availableRequires frequent plant field visits that may require the use of protective clothing & personal devices: Safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, mask, goggles, insulated gloves, safety vest, harness, hair net, slicker suit, self-contained breathing apparatusAbout InnophosInnophos is a leading international producer of specialty ingredient solutions that deliver far-reaching, versatile benefits for the food, health, nutrition and industrial markets.
