Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern - Spring 2027Where will you work: Four Corners site at 11200 R 37 South. Bradley, FL with regular traveling to other FL sites. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.A Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern at Mosaic will be assigned to special projects and will assist other engineers on major projects and process engineering.

Projects will focus on improving facility efficiency and final product quality. Typically, 36-40 hours a week.In person or remote.

9/80 schedule if applicable.What you'll do:Troubleshooting to identify root cause of problemsTracing of pipes and equipment in the field to correlate with the existing drawingAssisting with equipment efficiency tests and developing a process flow diagram for a new opportunityMass and energy balances for various types of chemical processesComputer modelingAssist Turnaround and Repair Day equipment inspections as requiredCommunicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.Adhering to Mosaic's mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.What you'll need:Junior level or above by January 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and/or Mining Engineer.2.75 GPA or higherAbility to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internshipSelected candidates will be required to successfully complete post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.Basic computer skills are requiredExperience working in a team environment is a mustFamiliarity with an industrial environment is highly desirableEffective verbal communication skills is a plusPhysical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environmentsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
