With our current growth plan, you will have the opportunity to, not only learn, but to develop new technologies to fit our customer needs.Job Duties / ResponsibilitiesLead or assist with technical evaluation for new and existing process units to meet our client needsSupport and perform flow sheet creation, equipment sizing calculations, provide design documentation, development equipment specifications and scope of work packages with vendors and contractorsValidate and approve vendor packages, drawings, data sheets and P&ID'sAssist in 3D model reviews and equipment layoutsProvide technical support for commissioning and start-upsPotential to grow into Project Manager for engineering deliverables and scheduleMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Other degrees will be considered pending prior experience.Experience: Ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of related experience in project process design or a manufacturing environmentTechnical Skills:Knowledge of P&ID developmentPerform heat and material balancesUnderstand fundamentals of hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations (pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, control valves, instruments, etc)Referencing industry standards and best practices for process design.Former on-site experience and Operations experience is a plus!Preferred Applicable Software:CHEMCAD or similar simulation software, Microsoft products, Bluebeam (or PDF equivalent for drawing markups), Heat Exchanger software, Navisworks (3D Model Reviews).Licensure: PE preferred but not required
