Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.The Process Engineer provides technical support and process leadership to ensure manufacturing assets operate at optimal performance in terms of output, material usage, energy efficiency, and product quality.

This role is responsible for monitoring and improving process performance through data analysis, auditing, and preventive practices, enabling rapid identification of deviations and implementation of corrective actions.The Process Engineer plays a key role in driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCCA), experimentation (DOE), and performance optimization, while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance operational effectiveness and sustain long-term results.Your Day to Day:Process Monitoring & OptimizationPerform continuous analysis of manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actionsMonitor and maintain process performance to meet output, efficiency, and product specification targetsExecute standard control processes and ensure adherence to established operating proceduresData Analysis & Problem SolvingUtilize data collection, auditing, and preventive maintenance practices to detect deviations and performance gapsLead or support root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigations and implement sustainable solutionsDesign and execute trials and Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize processes and validate improvementsConduct comprehensive evaluations of asset performance and recommend data-driven improvement strategiesContinuous Improvement & Project LeadershipLead defined process improvement initiatives and optimization projects within manufacturing operationsPartner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficiency, quality, and cost improvementsReview and adjust raw material specifications based on performance data to drive process effectivenessCollaboration & Technical SupportWork closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issuesShare insights, learnings, and best practices within the technical community and participate in Centers of Excellence (COEs) as applicableProvide on-site technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup activitiesSafety & Operational ExcellenceActively support and promote a strong safety culture by encouraging safe behaviors and participating in safety initiativesContribute to continuous improvement of safety performance and operational standardsAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Team:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science with a minimum of 1 years of experience in industrial continuous process manufacturingExperience of identifying and implementing process improvementsDemonstrated problem solving skills including complex data analysisProven results orientation including the ability to lead key projects to successful completionProven ability to make timely decisionsExperience with DOE for process improvementProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookProven analytical and quality improvement abilityDemonstrated collaboration skills including the ability to interact with a broad range of employeesSolid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to set and communicate expectations to team membersWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to off-hours issues in support of a continuous 24/7 manufacturing operationAbility to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyWork EnvironmentWork environment is typical of a manufacturing facilityMay be exposed to conditions such as temperature extremes, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust, fumes, and frequent physical activity (walking, climbing, etc.)Please Keep in MindIf you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
