Operating from a 200,000-square-foot facility, the company serves a diverse range of industries including medical, industrial, electronics, business machines, and consumer products. They specialize in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing and continue to invest in growth, process improvement, and operational excellence. Job Description
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding processes utilizing engineered and commodity resins
Refine, document, and standardize manufacturing processes across multiple production areas
Create and maintain process sheets, work instructions, SOPs, and ISO-controlled documentation
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, process efficiency, and productivity improvements
Analyze and report on key manufacturing and process performance metrics
Train and mentor process technicians, mold setters, and other technical personnel on processing and troubleshooting techniques
Develop post-project manufacturing controls and ensure smooth handoff to production teams
Identify and implement new equipment, automation technologies, and process improvements to support growth and profitability
Support and champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives throughout the facility

The Successful Applicant
A successful Process Engineer should have:
Hands-on experience within plastic injection molding manufacturing environments
Strong background in developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes
Experience troubleshooting molding and production issues
Strong understanding of continuous improvement and process control methodologies
Ability to train, mentor, and develop technical personnel
Preferred
High-mix, low-volume or contract manufacturing experience
Lean Manufacturing experience
Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience

Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000.
