This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer or recent graduate who enjoys working hands‑on with CAD models, manufacturing data, and process documentation . The role was created to better balance workload across the engineering team and will focus heavily on data handling, modeling, and manufacturing support , while more senior engineers manage quoting and advanced job planning.

What You’ll Do
- Create, validate, and maintain manufacturing models and CAD data using 2D drawings, scan data, and specifications
- Support manufacturing teams with post‑PO technical assistance related to materials, subcontracting, and production readiness
- Assist with process design and optimization for machining and contract manufacturing projects
- Prepare and maintain accurate engineering documentation , including CAD files, drawings, and controlled data
- Perform data entry and maintenance in ERP systems , including detailed routings and bills of material
- Participate in design reviews with internal teams and customers to ensure manufacturability and quality alignment
- Research materials, features, and manufacturing methods to support feasibility and continuous improvement
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve design‑related or manufacturability challenges
- Stay current on emerging manufacturing technologies, materials, and design tools
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology , or similar
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering, estimating, or manufacturing support
- Strong CAD skills with a desire to work heavily in modeling and data
- Solid understanding of machining fundamentals, blueprint reading, and GD&T
- Comfortable working with manufacturing data, ERP systems, and detailed documentation
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a production environment
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to CNC machining or contract manufacturing environments
- Experience with 3D modeling , Siemens NX, or Powermill
- ERP experience
- Familiarity with ITAR or controlled manufacturing environments
