Senior Process Control/Automation EngineerA global chemical company needs a senior process control/automation engineer with multi-site responsibilities. Platforms DeltaV and AB ControlLogix important.Key Points/MUST have:Extensive experience with configuration/optimization of Emerson DeltaVMust have some experience with Allen-Bradley ControllogixExtensive experience in plants/ops setting - not desk jobShort version: Senior automation engineer to lead automation projects and trouble-shooting efforts at both a main plant and other surrounding operations.(All Application will be regarded as confidential)More InfoWork with, through and between ops, site engineering, EHS, etc, on all things process controlDesign, upgrade, manage automation projects with both DeltaV and Controllogix systemsIdentify and (or) quantify potentially issues and design/propose solutionsLead operation-wide efforts with new technology within production, environmental and emissions control, etcSome other process areas of the large multi-process complex:Experience in designing/improving all areas of a site DCS, including programmingSome experience with SRS, SIL ratings, and ISA84 usefulWork with site personnel, compare personnel from other sites, contractors/subsRequired/preferred:Degree in engineering preferred; 10+ years with appropriate systems requiredExperience in as much of the above as possibleMust know DeltaV (including managing configuration) and controllogix.Most experience in a plant or multi-plant/site settingMust be good with people! This is a position working across groups; a key strategic roleTravel to local plants; rare (under 10%) to assist at plants out of region or for trainingAble to work in an active plant setting with potentially hazardous areasSalary is at or can be significantly over $150k - $165K, bonus, etc.
