Our success comes from finding, retaining, and supporting the highest quality talent by offering:Day 1 Benefits Coverage with low cost Medical, Vision, DentalDay 1 Paid-time Off and Vacation4.5% Company Match 401(k) plan$500 Annual Company-paid Lifestyle BenefitCompetitive Compensation and BonusesCompany-paid Life and Disability InsuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Advancement OpportunitiesWhat You'll Do:Install, monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of all electrical, electronic control systems and components, process equipment, and AC/DC utilitiesProcure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipmentMaintain and revise instruction manuals, drawings, schematics, maintenance logs, and other documentation, as requiredAbility to troubleshoot all aspects of Medium/High Voltage equipment for an industrial steel production facilityPerform other duties as assignedDemonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needsParticipates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety CultureWork safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPEUnderstand start up, shutdown, and emergency proceduresResponsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work areaLearn and maintain the variety of electromechanical starters and motors using sophisticated electronic interface boards, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and controllersWhat You'll Need:Minimum 2 years electrical or industrial maintenance experience OR vocational degreePossess specific knowledge of both hydraulic and electrical systems and equipmentExperience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electricalExtensive experience in maintenance of electrical control and distribution systems and analog and digital circuitsExperience or formal education and lab training on PLCs, or the ability to navigate block logic, ladder logic, or other digital logic interfacesTraining and/or experience in instrument and sensor calibrationKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuit componentsMust be able to work a 12 hour shift, which includes overtime, weekends and holidaysAbility to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spacesAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shiftStrong communication skills required.
