We also offer paid time off, paid holidays, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition reimbursement, opportunities for advancement, and an employee referral program.The Process Control Technician position is responsible for helping to implement mechanical and procedural initiatives, while the overall objective is to maintain and improve upon the Cambria manufacturing and polishing processes, ensuring consistency and increasing yield. Process improvement and metrics are essential to this role. This is a deeply technical role that requires hands on management.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Perform process control checks and actively communicate the resultsAssist with trial coordination as needed by engineers by helping develop testing protocols, adapting protocols, or managing auditsPerform routine live control monitoring auditsAssist Process Engineering in providing manufacturing support by learning to analyze data and identify manufacturing issuesWork with operators on basic process and engineering changesAssist in identifying manufacturing issues by working with Process Engineering to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventative actionPossess and display a strong knowledge of and troubleshooting skills for the following: mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, switches, motor starters, contactors, hoists, material handling equipment, and other components of the production facility and/or material handling equipmentPossess a strong knowledge of data analytics, metrics, and Microsoft Office SuiteUnderstand the operations of Oracle and Tableau software systemsHandle chemicalsPerform job duties safely as outlined in the Process Technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications & Skills:Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operationAbility to become certified in Chemical HandlingAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationBasic computer skillsBachelors Degree preferredMinimum Requirements:Education: Associate's Degree and/or other technical discipline certification or equivalent related experience - Bachelors degree preferredExperience: Industrial work experience - preferredSystems: Experience with Oracle, Tableau and other metric based softwarePhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesOccasionally work in wet and/or humid conditionsWork in a non-climate controlled environmentSeparate slabs using a separator tool in both racks and A-framesClimb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shiftWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:Steel toed bootsHearing protectionCut resistant glovesSafety glassesHigh visibility vestHard hatRespirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00.

Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
