Process Control Lead - ConvertingGeorgia-Pacific is seeking a Converting Process Control Lead at our Wauna Mill. Rainier provide climbing opportunities and are home to several world-class ski resorts.Responsibilities:Accountable for converting control systems and leadership of the Process Control Team in convertingDevelop the capability of individual members of team membersBuild partnerships with mill personnel to identify opportunities and solve problemsLead the development, planning, and execution of controls strategy for simultaneous projects and support activitiesAccountable for execution of controls projects and initiatives. Includes system design, testing, component specification, documentation management, vendor/contractor management, equipment procurement, installation and start-up supportProvide process control support for controls optimization, reliability and quality improvement initiatives, cost reduction efforts, capital projects, and safety initiativesPrioritize resources toward mill strategies and opportunities with highest valueQualifications:Experience with process control systems, including industry-standard PLCDemonstrated experience and success leading process control staff in a manufacturing environmentExperience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyMust have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorshipExperience in the Pulp and Paper industryExperience with Texas Instrument, Giddings & Lewis, or Siemens PLCsExperience with control system network topology (i.e. Ethernet, ControlNet, and firewalls)Experience in designing, supporting, and troubleshooting control systemsOur BenefitsEqual Opportunities
