Company Name: Disability SolutionsJob Description: Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Special Procedures Area Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 32 Summary: The Gastrointestinal Procedure Nurse will deliver competent and skilled individualized nursing care to patients in and out of the procedure room and skilled nursing care to families according to their identified needs. The Registered Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. The RN may serve as a liaison between the Gastroenterologist and other members of the medical team. This position does require on-call rotation.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or has completed requirements for BSN en route to MSN. 6 months of RN experience required. Certification/Licensure: Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas. Current BLS. PALS or NRP certification required. Certification as necessary in certain areas in the Medical Center.
