What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Circulate and scrub in the Operating Room.
- Train in the OB Emergency Department.
- Cross-train to post-partum.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
Experience:
- 2 years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants
- Internal applicants with less than 2 years' experience may be considered with approval
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within the first year
