## PRN Registered Nurse Oncology InfusionApplylocations: Elizabethtown, KYtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R **Summary****Job Description:**Registered Nurse - Oncology InfusionPRN; Shift VariesThe Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.* Planning, assessing, intervening, and evaluating the care of patient with an outcome focused approach from the initial assessment of patient, routine on-going assessment, implemented interventions as indicated, until and through the discharge of the patient, involving the patient, family, provider, and other members of the care team.* Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.* Follows the professional standards of care.* Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.* Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.* Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital.**Requirements:*** Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.* Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.* Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.* ONS and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required to be completed before completion of orientation.* Oncology Certified Nurse required within two years of hire.* Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Recent experience in specialty preferred.### *If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!*
