What you'll do
- Complete psychiatric evaluations, including review of medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial history.
- Assess symptoms, mental status, safety concerns, and relevant risk factors.
- Develop diagnostic impressions and recommendations for treatment or further assessment.
- Communicate findings with referring providers and other members of the care team.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation to support continuity of care.
- Current nurse practitioner licensure in Tennessee and national certification as a PMHNP.
- Strong psychiatric assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- A warm, patient-centered approach and clear communication.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and timely documentation.
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a collaborative team.
- Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations preferred.
