PRN Pharmacist – Behavioral Health

Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a PRN Pharmacist for an inpatient behavioral health facility in Hopkinsville, KY. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for occasional weekday coverage with dates available from October through January and additional dates expected.

• Schedule: PRN weekday coverage, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Current Coverage Dates:
  • October 28-29
  • November 2
  • November 27
  • November 30
  • December 29-31
  • Additional dates expected
• Order Entry System: HCS, training provided
• Automation: Omnicell, training provided
• Training: 1 day

Requirements

• Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing
• Inpatient or behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Availability for PRN weekday coverage

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders
• Verify medication packaging
• Support medication distribution and daily pharmacy operations
• Stock and maintain Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Work alongside pharmacy technician support to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
• Weekly Direct Deposit payments
