PRN Neurocritical Care Intensivist

Job Summary

We are seeking a PRN Neurocritical Care Intensivist to join the team at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover 26‑bed combined neuro and cardiac unit, typically 10‑15 neuro patients.
• Provide 12‑hour day shifts with low‑burden nighttime calls from home for continuity of neuro patients.
• Assist 3 MDs and 3 APPs during the day and 1 MD with 2 APPs at night.
• Support comprehensive stroke center services, Level 1 trauma, and consults in 52 closed ICU and 26 surgical ICU beds.
• Participate in clinical teaching for GME, IM/FM residents.
• Collaborate with neurointerventionalists, neurohospitalists, IR and neurosurgery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurocritical Care.
• Active Kansas State medical license and residence within reasonable distance to Wichita preferred.
• Interest in PRN schedule with 4‑6 shifts per month.
