Overview
Schedule: PRN (provides coverage for PTO and sick leave)
Location: Florence MRI & Imaging
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans efficiently while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging
- Gather and review patient data to determine the optimal scanning approach
- Screen and prepare patients, including positioning and administering contrast as needed
- Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and adjust as necessary
- Review images for diagnostic quality and determine if additional scans are needed
- Accurately document and archive patient and imaging data
- Maintain an efficient workflow and high standards of patient care and service
- Ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence
- Participate in quality assurance, training, and continuing education
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
- Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
- Active state licensure, where applicable
- CPR Certification is required
Prior Experience
- 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
- 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred
Special Qualifications
- IV skills required
- Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
- Skill in operation of MRI equipment
- Customer service background and focus
