This is an onsite, as-needed opportunity for experienced clinicians who can provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents while bringing lead-level clinical and supervisory experience to the team.
Already in the San Diego area? We'd love to hear from you.
Not local? We're also interested in qualified clinicians who are willing and able to travel to San Diego when PRN coverage opportunities arise.
And because California licensure is not required, clinicians with an active, unrestricted, independent license in another U.S. state or territory may be eligible.

Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches when working with vulnerable populations
Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary partners
Assist with clinical oversight, staff support, and operational needs while onsite
Maintain professional, ethical, and program standards in accordance with applicable requirements
Provide flexible PRN coverage based on program and scheduling needs
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or management experience
Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents
Experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma, crisis, and/or other vulnerable circumstances
Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide onsite PRN coverage in San Diego, California
Why Join Our PRN Team?
$95/hour
Flexible, as-needed PRN opportunities
Local San Diego clinicians strongly encouraged to apply
Travel-ready clinicians outside the area are also welcome
Lead-level opportunity without a full-time commitment
Meaningful work supporting children and adolescents within a federal behavioral health program
Opportunity to stay connected with Blue Rose for future behavioral health programs and assignments
Bring Your License to San Diego
Whether you're a San Diego-area clinician looking to add flexible PRN work or an experienced clinician who is open to traveling when coverage opportunities arise, we'd like to connect.
You have already put in the work to earn your independent clinical license. You do not need to start over in California to be considered.
