Fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Hannibal, MO area.
As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN) you work outside the walls of a hospital and enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to build one‑on‑one relationships with patients while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
In this PRN role, you will visit patients in greater Hannibal and surrounding areas, with occasional travel of up to 150‑200 miles one way; travel time is paid and mileage reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients’ homes.
- Deliver one‑on‑one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
- Exercise clinical nursing skills with continuous training on leading‑edge technology and specialty infusion requirements; reimbursement for Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN) certification and recertification is available.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal customer‑service skills when interacting with patients, physicians, pharmacists and other partners.
- Ensure additional licensure where required in multi‑state service areas.
- Travel occasionally up to 150–200 miles one way; travel time is paid and mileage reimbursed.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a current license in Missouri and the ability to be licensed in other states; additional licensure may be required in multi‑state service areas.
- Minimum one year nursing experience; IV‑related experience is a plus.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance (liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient‑care activity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years’ nursing experience.
- One year infusion experience.
Education
RN diploma, associate’s, or B.S. degree in nursing.
