What You’ll Do

• Provide speech‑language pathology services in home health settings
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine communication and swallowing needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Stay current with best practices in speech‑language pathology, particularly in geriatrics and home health

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist in Washington state
• Current BLS certification
• One to two years of experience as an SLP preferred
• Home health or hospice experience preferred, but not required
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile
