What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Requirements
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
- 2+ years of recent experience in an acute care setting for external applicants.
- Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience may be considered with approval.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
