Mid-Level AssociateThe Private Wealth Services group is seeking a mid-level associate to join its New York office. The group advises high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and closely held business owners on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and related tax matters.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and tax planning strategies, including gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax mattersStructure and implement sophisticated estate plans (wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, LLCs, etc.)Counsel clients on wealth preservation, business succession planning, and philanthropic planningAssist with estate and trust administration, including post-mortem tax planningWork on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional planning matters where applicableCollaborate with colleagues across corporate, tax, and real estate practices to deliver integrated solutionsParticipate in client development and maintain strong client relationshipsQualifications4–7 years of experience in trusts and estates / private wealth services at an Am Law firm or leading boutiqueStrong background in estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individualsExperience drafting complex estate planning documents independentlyExposure to estate and trust administration is preferredExcellent academic credentials and strong writing/analytical skillsAdmission to the New York Bar (or ability to waive in)To apply, submit your resume, cover letter and law school transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable).The expected pay range for this position is:Salary Range: $310,000 - $420,000GT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual's race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis.
