A Cleveland-based private investment firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its investment team, focused on lower middle market manufacturing investments.
Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of investment banking experience plus 2–3 years of private equity experience
- Strong transaction experience with closed deals
- Background in industrials is a plus
- Experience evaluating lower middle market companies preferred
- Strong financial modeling, due diligence, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and execute control investments in lower middle market manufacturing businesses
- Build detailed financial models and conduct comprehensive financial and operational due diligence
- Support deal structuring, negotiation, and preparation of investment committee materials
- Work closely with management teams to drive value creation initiatives
- Monitor portfolio company performance and assist with ongoing strategic execution
