The Associate will work across the platform in the following complementary strategies:Private Equity Fund Commitments: Conducting diligence on private equity funds within multiple asset classes, including buyouts, growth equity, venture and real assetsDirect Co-Investment: Conducting diligence on direct private equity investments by co-investing in private companies alongside premier financial sponsorsThe position provides an opportunity to work across a leading private equity platform in the areas listed above in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with constant interaction with the most senior members of the team.Primary Responsibilities:Analyzing and conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential primary fund investments and direct equity co-investment opportunitiesPerforming in-depth analysis of companies, industries and private equity portfoliosAssisting with the diligence and preparation of due diligence materials and investment committee memosMonitoring and reporting on firm's existing investments through regular interaction with fund managers, attending annual meetings of private equity firms, reviewing quarterly financials and performing portfolio analysisSupporting fund marketing and existing client requestsConducting special projects including product development and asset allocation analysesExperience & Skills Qualifications:Must have excellent academic credentials (both undergraduate school and GPA)Must have 2-3 years of top-tier investment banking or asset management program experienceMust be ranked near the top of peers with exceptional quantitative skillsMust have strong judgment, critical thinking and written skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written formMust show initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving; demonstrated experience in conducting research and interacting with others to develop solutionsMust have ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detailMust have team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projectsApplicants must be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without the need for current or future sponsorship.Compensation DetailsThe salary range for this role is $125,000-$135,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
