Job OverviewA law firm seeks a corporate associate to join its private equity and mergers and acquisitions group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in M&A and private equity transactions.

Duties

• Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in leveraged buyouts.
• Handle sell-side transactions and growth equity investments.
• Manage minority investments and related strategic transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of M&A and/or private equity transactional experience.
• Experience in the corporate department of a top-tier law firm preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

New York Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions.
