Role Overview
This position oversees the full spectrum of fund accounting, including quarterly and annual reporting, financial statements, capital activity, analysis, and coordination with auditors and third-party partners. It’s a hands‑on role suited for someone who thrives in a smaller setting and is comfortable managing the function independently.
Ideal Background
- 10–15 years of private equity fund accounting experience
- Broad exposure to fund operations and reporting
- Experience working in a lean or entrepreneurial environment
- Able to take full ownership of processes and deliver accurately under deadlines
- Not seeking candidates coming directly from public accounting
Location
The firm is establishing a New York presence in the near term. Until the office is finalized, the role will operate remotely for New York–based hires, with a hybrid schedule expected once the office is open.
